Premier Division Championship trophy presented today

TVR United were officially crowned Champions of the Spen Valley League following their fixture with Route 1 Rovers. The TVR Captain received the John Carter Trophy from the presentation party consisting of Management Committee member Simon Pollard and Life Member Gerald Pollard.

There is just one fixture remaining in this seasons Premier Division programme albeit all matters have been settled today. TVR completed the season six points clear of Vision FC thanks to their victory over Girlington. At the other end of the table, Savile United earned a point in the Savile derby and moved up one place to eighth.
