FA YOUTH CUP
Anstey Nomads and Aylestone Park journey in this seasons’ competition continues as they were both victorious on their travels, whilst Leicester Nirvana suffered a home defeat and Lutterworth Athletic will try again next week after their away fixture at Bottesford Town was postponed .
Anstey had a 3-2 victory over fellow League and Divisional side, Heather St Johns’ Development. Jake McLeary put Heather ahead with Szymon Donnerstag quickly equalizing for Anstey. Ethan Ballantine then put Anstey ahead with a powerful header from the edge of the penalty area and Josh Clarke adding the 3rd with Jake McLeary getting both his and Heathers 2nd with seconds left.
Aylestone had the long trip to take on Cleethorpes Town and returned home with a place in the next round thanks to a 4-1 victory. Jake Wormleighton (2), Kenan Muganda and Matthew Chadaway with the goals.
Leicester Nirvana were defeated 3-1 by Long Eaton United with Kareem Abouraria bagging Nirvanas’ lone goal.
NORTHERN DIVISION
Goals from Brennan Walker Insley and Mitchell White gave Gresley a 2-0 away victory over Bardon Hill.
Allexton & New Parks Hawks and Coalville Town Ravens shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Mitchell Dickman and Coby Alam for the Hawks with Owain Parker and Kai Smalley replying for the Ravens.
SOUTHERN DIVISION
Harborough Town had a 4-0 victory over Saffron Dynamo with Finley Fielding (2), Joseph McTighe and Isaac Carter finding the back of the net.
Goals from Alfie Bexon, Jeva Singh, Harry Washington and George Parker gave Oadby Owls a 4-2 away victory over Blaby & Whetstone who had George Beel and Brandon Beardsmore getting on the score sheet.
Lutterworth Athletic Academy and Friar Lane & Epworth shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Brad Hart and Max Harlow scoring for the Athos with Kristian Green and Ellis Porter replying for the Lane.
