Bedworth Eagles beat higher league opposition to book their place in Round One of the Tribune Challenge Cup.
Bedworth Eagles have had an impressive start to life in men's football since stepping up from junior level and that form continued on Sunday as they beat Crow's Nest Sports of League Three 5-2 to progress in the TRIBUNE CHALLENGE CUP.
Sam Harris scored 2 and singles for Bradley Constable, Brandon Dryburgh and Liam Holmes got the job done for the young Eagles. George Arnold and Dave Hall scored the Crow's Nest goals.
Ben Bates scored 2 for Athletico Duke as they picked up a 4-2 win over Bedworth Poppy's in TRIPLE R PAINTWORX LTD. Nathan Turner and Joe Scott completed the scoring for The Duke who close the gap on league leaders, Ex-Servicemen's Bedworth to a single point. Sam Gibbs and Levi Tindall scored the Poppy's goals.
Conny United came from 2-0 down to hit 11 past Red Lion Barwell in MARK BLAIR FINANCE LEAGUE TWO as a Ben Adams hat trick, 2 goals each for Connor Wainwright, Mal Boyce, Zion Bray, a single from Oli Menzies and an own goal saw them end 11-3 winners. Luke Newton scored a hat trick for Red Lion.
League leaders Travs maintained their 100% League start to the season as they beat Ambleside Reserves 9-0. Ethan Looker scored a hat trick with the other goals coming from Ben Court, Jake Freck, Joe Miles, Freddie Wakelin, Paul Brown and Harry Wilkins.
Newdigate United sit 2 points behind in 2nd after goal from Tom Noon, Harry Neale and James Lloyd secured them a 3-2 win against Ashby Road Sports. Stuart Heathcote and James Heathcote scored the Ashby Road goals.
Chetwynd Chess took advantage of others not playing in NUNEATON TROPHIES LEAGUE THREE as they beat Sunnyside Inn 3-2 to go 3 points clear at the top. Tyler Rowe, Aston Dowsett and Joe Smith-Walker with the Chetwynd goals. Harry Roper scored both the Sunnyside goals.
Josh Wilks gave Hearty Goodfellow Reserves an early lead which looked to be the difference but SS Bulls Head snatched a point in the 91st minute thanks to Daniel Poulter as the game finished 1-1

Attleborough Royal Oak are the new leaders of RICHARD DUNN LEAGUE FOUR but only on goal difference as they hit Attleborough Sports for 7. Jacob Bryan scored 4 of these with the others coming from a Daniel Richards double and Reece Mingar strike.
Lamb and Flag had the opportunity to claim top spot for themselves but FC Burbage had other ideas as they picked up a 6-3 win to leapfrog their opponents into 3rd place. Jacob Wright and Matt Snow scored 2 a piece with the other goals coming from Luke Garner and Leon Hallam for the Burbage side who find themselves in terrific form. George Simmons, Matthew Bull and Luke Foulkes scored for Lamb and Flag.
Griff and Coton Manor Reserves were 4-2 winners against Lord Nelson thanks to goals from Mark Mulholland, Lee Oddy, Ryan Skidmore and Montaeo Silk-Neilsen. Bryn Cove scored both the Lord Nelson goals

Ex-Servicemen's Bedworth Reserves and Bedworth Liberal shared the spoils in the all Bedworth affair. Travis Mowe scored for the Servicemen and William Roe for Liberal as the game finished 1-1.
Sunday saw the 2024/25 STOCKINGFORD CHARITY CUP get underway.
The game of the day was between Hearty Goodfellow and Ex-Servicemen Bedworth. Charlie Watts scored 2 for Hearty with the others coming from Ross Gandy and Omar Bandeh. Jamie Matthews scored 2 for the Servicemen with Kielan Thackeray and Ethan Baynham adding the singles as the game finished 4-4. Goalkeeper Jordan Baker was the hero for The Servicemen as he saved 2 penalties to steer his side to a 4-3 penalty shootout win.
White Horse Atherstone were 3-0 winner over Haunchwood Sports thanks to goals from Kyle Crawford, Nathan Billington and Jordan Coles.
Aidan Earp scored the only goal of the game to see Ambleside through with a 1-0 win over Royal Oak Hartshill.
Drayton went down 3-0 to GXNG from Coventry.
Matthew Wyatt scored a goal for Horseshoes but they would eventually be beaten 10-1 by Coventry Empire.
