player development Centre at Woughton is a great stepping stone for girls who want to progress to C of E but want to continue to playing with their club while doing so. Also Miss Mini kickers for 6 - 8 year olds.

Girls Player Development Centres

Milton Keynes Dons Sport and Education are re-launching the Girls Only Player Development Centres for the new 2010/11 season for all girls aged 7-15.

The Player Development Centre gives girls the opportunity to develop their own existing skills, thanks to quality coaching from some of our girls Centre of Excellence and MK Dons Sport and Education Trust coaches. It is hoped that a number of club players will develop further being part of these centres and take their skills back to enhance the great work already taking place at club level. Some players may even show enough potential to be offered a chance to progress further and trial at MK Dons Girls Centre of Excellence.

The Girls Player Development Centre has been very successful over the past three seasons with a total of 17 players coming through the centre to progress to represent our Girls Centre of Excellence.

The centres are open to all players regardless of ability level and sessions are tailored to meet the needs of all players.

Time: 5pm-6pm
Start Date: 10h September 2010
Age Group: 7 - 15
Cost: £45 (for 10 weeks)

Block starts on 10th September however players can book on at any point during the block.

Mini Miss Kickers

Milton Keynes Dons Sport and Education Trust are launching a new addition to the Girls Player Development centre called Mini Miss Kicker for young female footballers between the ages of 4-6. This is a fun introduction to football including skills coaching, fun games and a structured syllabus allowing players to develop their ABC’s (Agility, Balance and Co-ordination) in a safe learning environment. This is the ideal introduction to the player development programme before joining in with the main Girls PDC. Please see details of the Mini Miss Kickers Session Below -
