SHOESTRINGS - Chargrill are proud sponsors of the CDSFL

The Officers & Management Committee of the Chippenham & District Sunday Football League are pleased to announce that locally based Shoestrings have extended their sponsorship deal with the League to the end of the 2020/21 season.

Member clubs were told at Wednesday night’s AGM (24 June), on-line version, that Shoestrings Chargrill are to continue as the main sponsors of the league.

Shoestrings Chargrill proprietors, the locally based Webb family, are well known for their support of local football and the League Officers acknowledged their ongoing commitment to the league, especially in these uncertain trading times.

As well as the well loved Shoestrings Chargrill takeaways at the Bridge and Audley Road the family also serve traditional fish and chips at Buckles in Timber Street, where there is a dine-in facility, and at the recently rebranded ‘PLATTS’ in Sheldon Road. The name of PLATTS recognises the original owner of the shop.

A League spokesman said, “In such uncertain times with sport, in general, facing the repercussions of financial instability our clubs are extremely fortunate to to have the backing of a local business, and we are proud to carry the name of Shoestrings Chargrill”.
