NORTHERN DIVISION
Only 1 game survived the weather and that saw Anstey Nomads on their travels to take on GNG 2014 on their artificial surface. Anstey warmed up for their County Cup Semi Final next week with an 8-2 victory with the marksmen being Andrew Canacoo (2), Oliver Creese, Chevron Mahoney, Donte Ramsey, Lewis Austin, Jerome Agu and Talvin Shanker. GNGs’ replies coming from George Savoury and Prajay Patel.
SOUTHERN DIVISION
Aylestone Park Youth remain in top spot as they overcame a stubborn Harborough Town side 4-0. The Parks scorers were Mason Lopez (3) and Finn Reany. Due to a waterlogged pitch, Saffron Dynamo switched their home fixture with Thurmaston Magpies to Elizabeth Park and it was Thurmaston who came out on top with a 6-1 victory. Liam Stafford (2), Dominic Ford, Gary Warren, James McCrystal and Harvey East were the Magpies scorers with Chris Johnston replying for Saffron. Lutterworth Athletic warmed up for their County Cup Semi Final with an impressive 8-0 defeat of St Andrews with Ben Stephens (4), Shay Brennan (3) and Alex Rhoades all scoring.
