The first ever National Disability FA Cup produced an all Devon affair in the 2nd round played on Sunday 7th April at Liverton Football Club.

Round 2 of the inaugural National FA Disability Cup saw an-all Devon clash with Plymouth Argyle up against Exeter City, playing 11-a-side football. The match took place at Liverton Football Club, just outside of Newton Abbot, on Sunday 7th April.

With a hard pitch and a windy day, Plymouth won the toss and Captain Stuart Richardson , elected to play with the wind and press home the advantage. It was not long after the start, that Plymouth got the opening goal through Steve Bunker. Plymouth kept the pressure on throughout the first half with goals from Martyn Bovey, Stuart Richardson and Mike Lopez to go in at half time with a score of 4 - 0. Exeter City playing with the wind in the 2nd half saw a much tighter half, with the only additional goal from Plymouth’s Jamie Poyntz. wrapped the game up for us with the fifth goal fifteen minutes into the second half.

With the final whistle Plymouth now move onto the regional finals in Basingstoke on Sunday 21st April, where are opponents are Living4 Life FC from Colchester. Winners of this game, will go onto play the winners of the North Regional Finals at St. Georges Park on Sunday 12th May.

12-16years (boys & girls) Sunday's 10am to 11am.
Seniors (men & women) Tuesday's 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

All sessions are £4.00 per session.
