The first weekend of the new month sees the third set of fixtures being played in the Chris Sear Memorial Cup and Shield.
Chris Sear Memorial Cup – Group A
Lanthorne vs Hussar – Minster Recreation Ground 10.30am
Group A Leaders Lanthorne host Hussar knowing a win will put them in touching distance of a place in the quarter finals. Unbeaten from their two group matches so far, they host a Hussar side sat third in the table with three points. Hussar will be missing Kieran Davis who serves a one match suspension.
19th Hole vs Windmill – Viking Field 10.30am
Two teams separated by a point in the table after two matches, a win here for either team will strengthen their chances of reaching the quarter finals. The two teams meet in the league on 29th September with 19th Hole winning 3-1.
Frames United vs Lesters Athletic – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Both teams will be looking for a win to kick start their cup campaign, neither have recorded a win in their first two matches in the competition, and a win for either team will push them up the table towards qualification.
Chris Sear Memorial Cup – Group B
Counting House vs Macies – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Counting House will be looking to record their first points of the competition but are up against a Macies team that have won their matches so far and sit joint top of the table. A win for Macies will see them on the brink of qualification for the quarter finals. George Amber serves the second of a three-match ban for Macies.
Monkton vs TWS Cramptons – Monkton Recreation Ground 10.30am
Both teams have one win and one defeat so far, so a win here will be key to reaching the latter stages of the competition, both sides were victorious last Sunday In league action.
Red Arrows vs Kings United – Sandwich Technology School 10.30am
Red Arrows host a Kings United side that have won every match so far this season and sit joint top of the group table. A win for Red Arrows will push them up the table at the halfway point of the competition but will need to keep the league’s top scorer, Zack Thomas, in check.
Chris Sear Memorial Shield – Group A
Garden Bar vs Franklins – Birchington Recreation Ground 10.30am
Group A leaders Garden Bar are three points clear after recording two wins from their two group matches and take on a Franklins side who fell to defeat in their only group match played so far. Still all to play for in this group.
Prince Albert vs The Vale – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Two sides locked on three points meet just four weeks after The Vale recorded a 2-0 win their league encounter. Both will be keen to get the three points and move closer to qualification for the quarter finals. The Vale will be without Danny O’Shea as he serves a one match suspension.
Thanet Athletic vs FC Inter Westgate – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
FC Inter Westgate play their second match in the group having recorded a 4-1 win n their opening match whilst Thanet Athletic have tasted defeat in both their matches in the group so far but are just three points off second place in what is a very tight group.
Chris Sear Memorial Shield – Group B
Aussie Arms vs Holman Carpentry – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Two sides yet to record a point in the competition meet here but Holman Carpentry have played a game less. They drew 2-2 in the league back in early September, so this could be an equally tight match. A win for either team will move them up the table and aid qualification for the latter stages.
Northwood vs Sandwich Town – Baypoint Sports Club 10.30am
Both teams have a win each so far with Northwood having played one game more. A win for either team will see them in a strong position to reach the quarter finals as the competition nears the halfway point.
Westwood vs Easy Scaff – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Easy Scaff head the group table having won both their matches so far and are unbeaten in their last three matches. Westwood welcome back Marc Beresford from suspension as they look to get the three point and push up the table.

The last weekend before the Festive break saw a watered-down fixtures schedule as several teams had booked the weekend off for their Christmas parties.
