RHODES EBBS LEAGUE CUP

The 2 outstanding ¼ Final ties were played and both Anstey Nomads and Mansfield Town gained their place in the Semi Finals.

A lone strike from Tom Hilton was enough for Mansfield Town to earn their place with a 1-0 victory over Lutterworth Athletic.

Goals from Corey Armeni and a last minute winner from Ethan Ballantine saw Anstey Nomads go through with a hard earned 2-1 victory over Heather St Johns’ Development whose reply came from Ben Marshall.

NORTHERN DIVISION

Allexton & New Parks Hawks earned their 1st victory of the season, with a 5-1 away victory over Coalville town Ravens. Emmanuel Kambula (3), Ashley McNamara and Mitchell Dickman for the Hawks with Kai Smalley bagging the Ravens consolation.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

Aylestone Park travelled to take on Harborough Town and they returned home with the points in a 4-2 victory. Theo Sjoberg (2), Filip Zmyslony and Christian Berry for the Park with Harboroughs’ replies coming from Timmy Gorman Powell and an own goal.
Aylestone, with 1 game remaining, now need to take maximum points when they meet Lutterworth Athletic, who are the only team that can overtake them, in 2 weeks time to claim the title.

Saffron Dynamo hosted Lutterworth Town and were up 1-0 at half time through Reegan Lawrence, however the Swifts came out stronger for the 2nd half and ran out 4-1 victors. George Robinson, Benjamin Hoga, Zach Stanton and Morgan Dunkley with the Swifts goals.

Blaby & Whetstone and Friar Lane & Epworth shared the points in a 0-0 draw.
