The Herne Bay and Whitstable Sunday Football League are pleased and proud to announce THE PLOUGH RESTAURANT are continuing to sponsor us for the 2023/24 Season
The Plough Restaurant, run by proprietor Mel Evans, is firmly established as a community-based hostelry where you can enjoy traditional “Pub Grub”, including one of the best Sunday roast dinners in the area.
They earnt a special place in the heart of the people of Swalecliffe during the recent Covid shut down, when Mel and her team kept the restaurant kitchen operative to offer a Roast Dinner to locals, and also to donated and deliver hot meals to some of the neediest in the community, as well as to NHS workers to say thank you.
Sponsorship of the local Sunday Football league is a natural extension of the restaurant’s commitment to supporting the surrounding community, and we fully endorse that philosophy.
