Only 5 games survived the Saturday night downpour as Desford-Caterpillar put an end to the 100% league win record of Haunchwood Sports with a 2-1 win at Caterpillar Sports Club, in NDSFL LEAGUE ONE. Liam O’Rourke gave the Desford side the lead when Sam Blowers cross was flicked on by the head of Chris Neal in to O’Rourke’s path and he made no mistake with his finish.
Early into the second half and the lead was doubled. Sam Blower involved again, this time whipping in a corner which was met by the head of Noel Gilbert, 2-0. On around 65 minutes, Haunchwood had one back. Tom Walker providing the assist for Simeon Townsend to finish. Desford held on though, to inflict a first league defeat of the season for Haunchwood.
Hearty Goodfellow were the visitors to Barwell as they took on Barwell Cricketers in NDSFL LEAGUE ONE. Goals from Craig Ashby and Charlie Watts ensured they returned to Nuneaton with all 3 points as they went on to win 2-1. Matt Pratt was on hand to get on the end of a James Graham cross to score for the Cricketers.
Travs were top scorers of the day in MARK BLAIR FINANCE LEAGUE TWO as they picked up an 8-0 win over Acorn. Michael Hutchinson scored a hat trick, 2 for Lee Wallace and goals from Daniel Foster, Tom Scott and Stephens Alexander striking for Travs.

Ashley Gilder gave Swan Dive the lead before Scott Hall equalised for Bermuda with a bullet header at the near post. The win sends Swan Dive back into the promotion places. With only 6 points between 3rd and 10th, there will be a lot of teams fancying their chances of securing promotion.

Josh Atkinson then equalised from the spot before a minute later, Jarrod Stone headed Bull’s Head into the lead. Danny Winterbotham then scored 2 headed goals in 2 minutes to send Rumour Mill 5-3 up. Alex Lane scored a bullet header late on to push the momentum back in favour of Bulls Head but Rumour Mill managed to hold on to claim a 5-4 win and massive 3 points to send them 5 clear at the top of NUNEATON TROPHIES LEAGUE THREE.
