In a game of two halves it was Norton Cougars who eventually lifted the trophy. Cougars had the first real chance of the half when a free kick from Daniel Cooke was flicked on by Paul Acton only to see his effort hit the post. In an even first half it was Sprink Bank Youth who eventually took the lead, Chai Dobson controlled a long punt forward, and spread the ball to Russell Leadbetter who shot gave Carl Sireno no chance in the Sprink Bank goal.
Half time 1-0.
Norton Courgars equalized early in the second half, when Nathaniel Dunn found Margus Fragola in acres of space and his shot matched Leadbeaters effort in the first half. Spink Bank Youth had the chance to pull level when Chris Lawlor beat two of Cougars defenders and to see his shot go wide. With only minutes remaining and the final heading for extra time a cross from Marcus Fragola was head home by Keiron Adhere to give Cougars the lead. Moments latter the final was safe when a hopeful punt forward from Fragola bounced awkwardly in front of Sireno and into the Sprink Bank net.
