RHODES EBBS LEAGUE CUP

Aylestone Park booked their place in the Final with a 4-3 victory over Allexton & New Parks Hawks. Kieran Cooper (2), Matthew Chadaway and Harry Sheffield with the Parks goals and the Hawks replies coming from Jay Broome (2) and Aeran Johnson.

This seasons’ Final is between Anstey Nomads and Aylestone Park and is being played at Quorn FC on Thursday 24th May with a 7.45 pm kick off.

NORTHERN DIVISION

Goals from Tristan Ward (3), Finley Jones (2), Ethan Ballantine, Lewis Ward, Callum Chetwynd and Szymon Donnerstag kept Ansteys’ title hopes alive as they had a convincing 9-0 away victory over Ashby Ivanhoe Knights. Heather St Johns’ Development finished their season on a high as they defeated Ashby Ivanhoe 5-2 with Jake McLeary (2), Ben Warren, Leighton Storer and Jack Dilks all scoring. Ashbys’ replies coming from Matt O’Regan and Michael Jones.
Anstey Nomads are playing catch up and their 2nd game of the week saw them share the points in a 1-1 draw away at fellow contenders, Gresley. Alistair Sharpe scoring for Gresley with Finley Jones replying for the Nomads.

SOUTHERN DIVISION

Allexton & New Parks JFC were held to a 1-1 draw by Harborough Town meaning that they now require 1 point from their final game to be Divisional Champions. Josh King gave Harborough the lead but a late Taylor Carvell strike saved Allextons’ blushes.
