Sunday’s fixtures were once again severely disrupted by the weather, however seven leagues went ahead at least along with the Derbyshire Senior Sunday Cup quarter final between Hasland and Clowne Wanderers, the fixture being switched to Wanderers Clune Street ground and it was Hasland who booked themselves a semi-final match up with Corner Pin FC of the Clifford Health Club Long Eaton Sunday League, winning the game 4-1. James Senior’s two goals in this game along with one from Lee Clay and Joe Robb have given Hasland a great opportunity to reach this season’s final.

In NAPIT ONE Renishaw MW moved above AFC Whitecotes into third place after two goals from Talbot plus one from Pleweki secured them a 3-1 victory. Eckington Boys and Hepthorne Lane were back in action and it was the former who prevailed by a 4-1 margin, Knowles scoring a brace, Savage and Siddall one each.

Brimington Park Colts leapfrogged Pilsley to go third in NAPIT FOUR after they beat Chesterfield Arms 4-2, Pilsley slipping to a 3-0 defeat to New Whitt B. J Reed-Aspley scored twice for Park Colts, with Moseley and Pashley joining him on the score sheet whilst for New Whitt Daley Furness led the way, his goal being added to by strikes from Radmore and Lock.

The only game in SIX was contested by Barlow Kingston Rovers and Renishaw MW Reserves, the former winning 3-1 to move within a point of second placed Crown Killamarsh courtesy of two goals from Nigel Emberton plus a third from Scott Whitehouse.

Duckmanton Community have dominated NAPIT SEVEN since the first week of the season and that domination continued with an 8-1 mauling of Spartans 2nd, a win which moved them twelve points clear of second placed Oxcroft United, although Oxcroft have played three games fewer. The goals have come thick and fast for Duckmanton with S Johnson helping himself to four, Sheppard, Dove, Travis and Reynolds one each in this game taking the club’s season total to eighty-nine in seventeen starts, Glapwell Gladiators game at Hillstown went ahead against bottom side Dronfield Town and they beat them by three goals to one with Dave Canning hitting his twenty-eighth of the season, Stirland and Pashley also hitting the target.
