This Sunday sees the second round of fixtures in the Chris Sear Memorial Cup and Shield.
Chris Sear Memorial Cup – Group A
Frames United vs 19th Hole – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Frames United sit second in the group table after a 2-2 draw with Lanthorne in the opening fixture. 19th Hole are 4th are they also drew their opening match.
Windmill vs Lanthorne – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Windmill top the group as the only team to win their opening group match, Lanthorne drew 2-2 in their opener. Both teams are also only separated by one point in the Premier Division table.
Lesters Athletic vs Hussar – Viking Field 10.30am
Lesters will be hoping to take their recent good league form into the match, and they currently sit top of the first division with a 100% record. Hussar had a free week last Sunday and suffered a defeat in their opening match in this competition.
Chris Sear Memorial Cup – Group B
Kings United vs Counting House – St Lukes 10.30am
Kings United hold a 100% record in all competitions this season and come up against a Counting House that will be keen to get points on the board following a surprising defeat in their opening match. Both teams possess strikers in form as Zack Thomas and Chris Lewis both have five goals each this season.
Macies vs Monkton – Monkton Recreation Ground 10.30am
These two sides sit 2nd and 3rd in the table having both won their opening matches and face each other for the second successive week as they drew 2-2 in the league last weekend. Matt Hardy has six goals for Monkton this season.
TWS Cramptons vs Red Arrows – Royal Harbour Academy 10.30am
Both these sides tasted defeat in their opening group match, so will be keen to get points on the board from this match. Red Arrows will look to Lukasz Olubek to continue his fine scoring start to the season whilst Jack Penny scored twice last weekend for TWS Cramptons.
Chris Sear Memorial Shield – Group A
The Vale vs Garden Bar – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
The top two in the group meet having both won their opening group matches. Garden Bar came out on top when the two teams met in the league on 8th September. In David Crane, The Vale has the league’s top scorer but Garden Bar have both Freddie Saunders and Will Billings on five goals each.
FC Inter Westgate vs Westgate Social Club – Lymington Road 10.30am
It’s 3rd against 4th in this group match but it’s FC Inter Westgate’s first match on the competition. Westgate Social Club won their first match but will without Luke Green for this match as he serves a one match suspension. FC Inter Westgate will hope Daniel Harris continues his fine scoring start to the season.
Thanet Athletic vs Prince Albert – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Two teams that tasted defeat in their opening match meet knowing a win will move them back into the qualifying places. In Cameron Escudier, Thanet Athletic have a striker in fine form with seven goals so far.
Chris Sear Memorial Shield – Group B
Easy Scaff vs Northwood – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
The top two teams in the group meet in a repeat of the opening day of the season which saw Easy Scaff win 5-3. Camron Haswell continues to cause defences trouble as he’s hit eight goals this season. Harry Paxman and Michael Moore have combined for nine goals to date for Northwood.
Holman Carpentry vs Shrimpos – Bell Meadow Recreation Ground 10.30am
Two teams who didn’t feature in the opening set of fixtures get their campaigns underway. Shrimpos head into the match sitting on top of the second division table with Gareth Rushton leading their scoring charts. Holman Carpentry had a week off last Sunday and will again be without Daniel Fisher and Chris Clark through suspension.
Sandwich Town vs Aussie Arms – Baypoint Sports Club 10.30am
Sandwich open their cup campaign by facing Aussie Arms who they defeated 4-0 in the league last weekend which sees them sitting third in the second division table. Aussie will be looking for a positive result to kickstart their season.

The last weekend before the Festive break saw a watered-down fixtures schedule as several teams had booked the weekend off for their Christmas parties.
