FA YOUTH CUP – 1st Round Qualifying
Not too much joy for the League as only Leicester Nirvana progressed
Leicester Nirvana travelled to face fellow League side Anstey Nomads and progressed through to the next round with an outstanding 9-1 victory with goals from Jamil Houmod (2), Mohammed Koultouma (2), Imad Koultouma, Mohammed Polli, Theo Baker, Michael Sweeny and David Ogundele all finding the back of the net. Nomads reply coming from Harry Burton. Nirvanas’ reward is another away tie at Notts County.
Gresley travelled to face Basford and went out 4-2 on penalties after holding the hosts to a 2-2 draw. Ben Gough and Ben Warren with the Moatmens’ goals.
Oliver Ashton was on target for Harborough Town but unfortunately they went out 3-1 away at Deeping Rangers.
Aylestone Park lost 5-0 away at Mickleover Sports.
NORTHERN DIVISION
There was a massive 32 goals scored in just 3 games
Heather St Johns’ Development had a resounding 13-0 home victory over Shepshed Dynamo with 10 different goalscorers. Jack Hession led the way with a treble with the others coming from Max Dutton, Harvey Cunningham, Aaron Korpal, Cameron Reeve, Hans Bhimji Walker, Jake Finnerty, Jack Burns, Harvey Stanton and Kyle Jardine.
Loughborough Dynamo
Goals from Sam King (4), Luke Harris (2), Baron Guzel (2), George Rowe and Andy Melville saw Loughborough Dynamo to a 10-1 victory over Coalville Town Ravens whose consolation came from Sam Townsend.
Beaumont Park Pumas had a 6-2 away victory over Kirby Muxloe with Matthew Brown (2), William Toone, Salahe Mohammed, Ryan Clarke and Owen Dewing scoring. The Ravens replies coming from Toby Clauss and Elliott Hodson.
SOUTHERN DIVISION
Just the 1 game saw Blaby & Whetstone Blues share the points with Oadby Owls in a 1-1 draw. Brandon Beardsmore for the Blues with Jeva Singh replying for the Owls.
