For any team wishing to move a game from their normal match day.
LR20.9 Matches may only be played on any day of the week other than the usual match day as determined by the Competition with the agreement of both teams and the approval of the Management Committee.
If you wish to change the day of your fixture, please read the guidelines below.
1 The game must be played within the week of the scheduled date.
2 Both managers must agree and if one says 'no' that is the end of the matter.
3 If both managers agree they must inform their respective Club Secretaries, not the League Secretary.
4 The club secretary must email the League Secretary, copy to the League Chair, if you wish.
5 The League Secretary will ask the committee to vote, probably via email, before permission is granted.
6 If permission is granted the League Secretary will inform both clubs and the fixture secretary so the change can be made.
7 Until the change of date has been confirmed on the website the original date stands.
Notes to consider:
No manager must feel they need to agree to a change of date, you don’t.
The request must be from both Club Secretaries to the League Secretary.
A club may be charged and fined for not following the League Rules.
Please request as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
