The format for the second half of the seson will be as follows

On completion of all teams playing each other once the top six teams will play each other once more and the bottom six will play each other once more also.
Only a team in the top six will be able to win the league, as the highest possible finishing position for a team in the bottom six will be seventh place regardless of the total number of points
that team ends up with. This is in line with the way that the SPL deals with its last round of games. All points gained in the first eleven games will be carried forward.
