The first month of the season comes to an end with a number full set of fixtures.
Premier Division
TWS Cramptons vs Kings United – Marlowe Academy 10.30am
The top two go head-to-head just two weeks after Kings defeated TWS Cramptons in the Chris Sear Memorial Cup. Kings will look to Lee Palmer to keep up his recent scoring having netted three goals in all competitions this season. Dom Crawford leads the scorers for Cramptons having also scored three goals.
Lanthorne vs Counting House – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Counting House will be seeking three points to take advantage of any slip up from the top two this Sunday. Chris Lewis on fine form with four goals from two matches this season. Lanthorne come into the match off the back of a week off and currently sit 5th in the table.
Windmill vs 19th Hole – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
A great win for Windmill last week sees them enter this match in good form in 4th place, Joshua Wood netting four goals this season already. 19th Hole are 6th and come into this weekend having lost 4-2 last Sunday, but in Max Glet, have the divisions leading scorer with six goals from his four appearances.
First Division
Hussar vs Easy Scaff – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Leaders Hussar remain with a 100% record as they face Easy Scaff this Sunday, Woody Pitman heads the scoring charts for the club with five so far. Easy Scaff fell to a 3-0 defeat last week and will want to bounce back and will look towards the league’s joint highest scorer, Cameron Haswell, to help them get back on track.
Red Arrows vs Northwood – Sandwich Technology School 10.30am
Back-to-back defeat for Red Arrows at the hands of Macies will see them take on Northwood wanting to get back to winning ways. Lukasz Olubek is the top scorer for Red Arrows with six goals so far. Northwood will want Harry Paxman to have his shooting boots with him as he’s sat on four goals from three appearances.
Lesters Athletic vs Westgate Social Club – Vikings Field 10.30am
It’s 2nd vs 4th in this match with both teams having the chance to end the day at the top of the table if results go their way. Lesters winning 3-1 last Sunday with top scorer Thomas Darrington netting twice. Westgate Social Club won 3-0 helped by a clean sheet from Barry Ainsworth, Lee Tregaskes is their top scorer this season with three.
Macies vs FC Inter Westgate – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
A win here for either side will push them right up in to top places in the table. Macies are in fine form having defeated previous leaders Red Arrows last week and have shared their goals around with no less than seven different players netting to date. FC Inter Westgate also head into the match on the back of a win last week and have Daniel Harris leading their scorers.
Monkton vs Westwood – Monkton Recreation Ground 10.30am
Two teams currently without a point meet at Monkton Recreation Ground, the home side losing 3-1 last week and have scored just two league goals this season and conceded thirteen, they face a Westwood side who have netted just a solitary goal in their three league games whilst shipping fourteen themselves.
Second Division
Garden Bar vs Holman Carpentry – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Leaders Garden Bar face Holman Carpentry this weekend as they look to continue their impressive start to the season. Will Billings leads the way for Garden Bar with four goals. Holman Carpentry will be without Daniel Fisher and Chris Clark through suspension.
Prince Albert vs Shrimpos – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Second face third in this match with both teams having the chance to go top should Garden Bar slip up. Shrimpos have won both their matches so far with Gareth Rushton netting three goals in those two matches. Prince Albert have collected four points from their three matches with Lewis Higgins scoring four goals so far.
Sandwich Town vs Franklins – Baypoint 10.30am
A win for either side in this match could push them into the promotion places. Sandwich enter the match having not played since 8th September and have accumulated four points so far. Franklins also have four points but have played a game more.
Thanet Athletic vs Aussie Arms – Jacky Bakers 10.30am
Aussie Arms will be buoyed by getting their first point of the season last week in a 2-2 draw with Holman Carpentry, Thanet Athletic will want to bounce back following a 4-0 defeat against Franklins. A win for either team will pull them out of the bottom two.
