It's as you were at both the top and the bottom in the Everards Brewery Premier Division. Goals from Madison Murrell, Mac Parnell and sub Yaro Phillips gave leaders Desford and Caterpillar a 3-2 win away at Magna 73, with Arjunia Govia and Nic Smith scoring for Magna, it's now seven wins from seven for Desford.

Staying hot on their heels are Allexton and New Parks and Ellistown. ANP went 1-0 down at home to Cottesmore after Shaun Dennigan scored for the Rutland side, but goals before the break from Zak Adams & Elhakim Opoku gave ANP a 2-1 win. Meanwhile, an Ethan Bibby brace, along with goals from Luke Higgins, Christian Ngueusseu and sub Giorgio Stylianou were enough for Ellistown to record a 5-1 win at home to Barrow Town, for whom Goncarlo Santos scored.

Those three teams are now seven points clear of fourth-placed Aylestone Park Reserves, who cruised to a 7-1 victory at home to FC Khalsa, Aaron Preston scoring a double, with Dan Henfrey, Thabo Makombe, Marley Spencer, Edwyn Worley and Lewis Turland coming off the bench to add a goal, Sameron Dool for Khalsa. Aylestone swap places with AFC North Kilworth, who fell to a 5-1 defeat at Burbage & Huncote, for whom James Graham (2), Carlton Beardmore and Liam Pescott were the scorers.

At the bottom of the table, Ashby Ivanhoe Knights are still searching for their first points of the campaign, and are also looking for a new manager, after letting slip a 2-0 lead away at Sileby Town. Kieran Alleyne and Jake Duthie put Knights in front, before Conner Packwood (2) and Chris Shaw pulled it out of the fire to give Sileby a 3-2 win. Barrow remained in the bottom two after their defeat at Ellistown, now three points adrift of safety after the day's surprise result, Friar Lane and Epworth winning 3-1 at Highfield Rangers, Gary Warren (2) and Christian Smith for FLAE, Seon Shippley for Rangers.

The only other game saw Thurnby Rangers win 1-0 away to Hathern, Austin Enekwe scoring midway through the second half, with Thurnby keeper James Hayes saving a penalty late on.
