Please note with immediate effect Carborundum FC have resigned from the St Helens Combination as per rule 12C paragraph 2.

Rule 12C paragraph 2
In the event of a team withdrawing or expelled from the competition after completing over 75% of its fixtures all remaining league fixtures will be awarded as a win to their opponents no goals will be awarded

Therefore all teams who haven't played Carborundum FC will be awarded a win and their opponents in the cup will have a walk over

New Street FC have won the LCFA Junior Cup for the second season running after winning it last season they played Mossley Hill Reserves on Tuesday 29th April 14 at LCFA headquarters Walton Hall Ave and won the cup again 3-0
With goals from Martin Dearden John Newton and Jamie Cardwell

New Street FC win through to the final of the LCFA Junior Cup for the second successive season
They are the defending champions and let's hope they go on and win it for the second time

They were 1-0 down at half time but in the second half ran out 3-1 winners with goals from Andy Simm Gary Kenny and Gavin Baker

Due to the continuing unprecedented rainfall throughout January into
February and the forecast rainfall over Friday night and during Saturday
afternoon, a decision has been taken to once again close St Helens pitches
this weekend - Saturday 8 February and Sunday 9 February 2014 - to
protect the playing surfaces for future fixtures
