Defending NAPIT LEAGUE Champions FC Britannia have found things much more difficult this season compared to last and a point from the game against Tibshelf Town leaves them ten points behind leaders Hasland Devonshire and they have played two games more. Jez Mitchell and Danny Ragan were on target for them in this game with Nathan Hadley and Ross Armstrong scoring for Town. Boyle, Richards, Brown and Howard found the net for Wingerworth BMB as they beat Creswell Black Diamond 4-2 and Clowne Wanderers beat Doe Lea by the same score, Clayton and Rowley both scoring twice.

In TWO leaders FC Utd of Bolsover had lost just once in their opening nine games prior to their game Creswell Black Diamond Reserves. However that fine run was ended as Diamond beat them by three goals to two, Sean Marsden scoring twice, Jay Hall once. Dronfield Woodhouse and Crispin Casuals have both endured difficult seasons so far, operating as they have with very small squads and on a glue pot of a pitch at Cowley Lane it was the hosts, Woodhouse, who won by five goals to two, Wainwright scoring twice for Woodhouse.

With THREE leaders Renishaw MW being inactive second placed Newbold had the opportunity to close the gap on them as they took on third placed Oaks FC. They did reduce the points deficit but only by one as the game ended level at 2-2. Jack Heath and Phil Owens both scored twice as Hady Villa picked up three points in a 5-2 win over Red Lion Whitt Moor as Jack Heath and Phil Owens both scored twice.

Brampton Oak Sports hit the top of FOUR after recording an excellent 4-2 win at Club FC, Dan Chapman scoring twice in the win. At a blustery Highfield Park the goals rained in as Butchers Arms 'butchered' Old Whittington MW as they rattled in ten goals, Callum Virgillio and Mark Woods both hitting hat tricks in a fine win. In a much closer affair Brimington Utd Shoes just edged out Spartans 3-2.

In FIVE Gardeners Clay Cross extended Glapwell Gladiators winless run to nine games as they beat them by four goals to one. Two goals from Dean Heywood and a third from Nathan Melbourne saw Royal Oak Rangers beat Bolsover Town 3-0.

There were plenty of goals in SIX particularly in the game between leaders Whitecotes Wanderers and Hasland Community Eagles as the former won 7-4. Leading the way for Whitecotes was Lee Wright who scored a hat trick in the victory, Dan Brown two, Craig Megyesi and Jamie Fox one each. Another side to hit seven were Astwith All Stars who beat Evolution 7-3, Justin Deakin in fine form scoring four of the winning goals. Hasland WMC couldn't quite manage seven goals but will be pleased with the six they scored agains Palterton Sporting Club, Aaron Horner and Andy Leeming both scoring twice. Mason Hamlin also scored twice, this time as Woodthorpe Wanderers beat Castle Arms 3-0.

In SEVEN leaders Darley Dale Red Star were held to a 1-1 draw by Newbold CFT which saw Brimington Club go level on points with them after a fine 7-2 win over Britannia Tupton, Reece Nuttall and Luke Reed both scoring twice in the win. Charlie Birch, Alex Gibbs, Jack Smith and James Thompson scored for Ye Old Nags Head as they just edged out Markham Arms in a close game by four goals to three, Dan Dodds twice and Dan South scoring the Arms goals.
