Welfare and Safeguarding - League Policy

The League takes any reported Welfare or Safeguarding concerns seriously and will ensure all our players and adults involved in football are protects from harm, threats and abuse.

Everyone invoiced in Junior Football has a responsibility and duty to report poor practice, low level concerns or adults at risk.

Please in the first instance report this to your Club Welfare Officer, who will investigate your report and if needed liaise with other Club Welfare Officers and the League Welfare Officer. If the concern reaches the threshold to report to the County Safeguarding Officer, they will do so.

If a child or adult at risk is at immediate risk of danger, please call the Police or Ambulance on 999.

If you feel your safe guarding concern has not been taken seriously, you should whistle blow to the County Whistle Blow Officer Zoe Griffiths 01743 362769 / 07368 528519 or contact the FA Safeguarding team on safeguarding@thefa.com
