STORM BABET TAKES ITS TOLL ON FIXTURES !
Storm Babet had the decisive say on most of this weeks programme as Friday’s downpour of rain saw only three games survive.
In MARK BLAIR MORTGAGE & FINANCE LEAGUE TWO, substitute Cameron Greenhough hit a hat-trick for Bermuda Park as they strengthened their place in 3rd with a 6-2 win over Phoenix United, the hosts other goals coming from Lee Davies, Steven Pywell and Isaac McLaughlin. Lewis Spencer and Josh Smith replied for Phoenix.
Over in Hinckley, Ashby Road Sports picked up 3 points with a 3-1 win over Crows Nest Sports, Jake Hughes, Matt Mangiante and Ryan Oswald with the goals. The Crows Nest goal was scored by Sam Hall.
In the all Leicestershire tussle in NUNEATON TROHIES & AWARDS LEAGUE THREE, Rumour Mill (Barwell) moved up to 2nd place with a dominant 7-0 win over table topping Hinckley Wanderers, 4 goals coming from Joe Randle, 2 penalties from Danny Winterbotham and an Isaac Hendon strike sealing the deal for Rumour Mill.
