In view of the adverse weather conditions the League has taken the decision to cancel Saturday's programme this afternoon unless the home team believes there is a genuine chance of the match being played. On that basis will the home team:

1) Confirm the cancellation with their opponents

2) Advise the match officials and ensure any observer is also aware

3) Confirm to Dave Holland and Dave Lumley that the match is postponed.

4) If the match is not to be cancelled today please ensure opponents, match officials and the league are aware of what is happening. Given the forecast and current driving conditions a decision to cancel by tomorrow evening should be taken. Only where there is a genuine chance of the match going ahead should a final decision be left until Saturday morning.

The League would be prepared to consider a request from Aylestone Park to use the 3G if available. Would Steve notify as soon as possible if that request is to be made.

As to next week normal protocol will apply unless the league notifies accordingly.
